4-21-24 Resting in God Hebrews 4

Entering into God’s rest, the writer of Hebrews has given us a warning not to neglect our faith in Christ.  The warning begins in chapter three.  The warning is that we need to hear God’s voice and we are warned not to harden our hearts as they did in the rebellion.  You what the rebellion was that after they came out of the land of Egypt they became rebellious and disobedient God because of their unbelief.  Their unbelief in God led a whole generation to die out and never enter into the promised land.
